IMPORT PRODUCTION INTERN

Desire to learn Import Production side of the Garment Industry. Exposure to overall production process--creation of the garment to retailer Liaison between Design and Production for production components, production tracking and follow-up , Coordinate and gather information.

• Must have stron communication skills written/verbal
• Must possess strong ability to multi-task
• Must be highly organized

DESIGN ROOM INTERN

Must be Illustrator/Photoshop proficient!!

Fabric/Trim maintenance--inventory, recordkeeping, assist Designer with purchasing paperwork

Line Books--updating info to include current line offerings--body styles, colors of the season, trim details.

Pattern Card maintenance--inventory, filing, assisting Pattern Makers with needs

Sample Requests--coordinating and maililng to Sales Executives/Buyers/Stores

SALES ASSISTANT INTERN

Market Line Presentation--pack, ship and receive. Garments steamed when received and merchandised for presentation.

Sales Assistant--work with Sales Asst. and Execs to follow-up/assist with needs.

Sales Books--maintain, update and distribute: Fabric Book, Availabe-to-Sell Inventory book

Overnight Deliveries--verify and confirm all checks, samples, orders, changes and boxes have been received. Provide proof-of-delivery for all receipts. Ensure all items are directed to the correct person.

Computer Usage--Email, Excel, AS400, etc.

Sample Requests--coordinating and mailing to Sales Executives/Buyers/Stores

Exposure to overall Sales and Design Room relationship
